We couldn't close out our spotlight on Movie Neighbors without a glance at Alfred Hitchcock's REAR WINDOW ('54) which showcases the epitome of a nosy neighbor, and perhaps the benefits of being one. Producers were initially hesitant about the more experimental nature of the film, with camera shots limited to the main character's immediate surroundings, but were quickly proven wrong as the film turned out to be a hit and an enduring classic.
