Here we kept everything in place giving the newel posts a little face lift and a filler strip in the hand rail to accept new iron balusters. We preserved the carpet as it was pretty new and expensive af. We stripped the handrail down and our finishers worked their magic! The homeowners were absolutely ecstatic!
